Yes: The now enclosed area by your mask has warmer air and less moisture. Your nasal cavity mucosa becomes more dry and can get irritated. You may feel itchiness/dryness/burning and also have runny nose (moisturizing the mucosa due to dryness/irritation). It’s a normal reaction but can also occur if you are allergic to the mask/cloth as well.
