Pain: Left sided CVA pain can be from infection of kidney or kidney stone. Splenic problem or some type of lower chest infection such as pneumonia or pulmonary embolus.

Side,back pains: Sharp flank pains can be from kidney stones or other ureteral blockage problems. Musculoskeletal causes are another possibility. I would investigate with a urinalysis µscopic exam of the sediment and an ultrasound of the kidneys. If the pains are more in the abdomen especially if there are bowel symptoms,? gas entrapment, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulitis or inflammatory bowel disease
