Why are some people catching coronavirus again after recovering? were they not really recovered, or does immunity to it not last?

CoronaVirus immunity: Currently, it is unknown if the immunity lasts. It is presumed that it should last for 1 year at least. Further testing needs to be developed and it is unknown if the recurrent patients never cleared the virus the first time. The results also depend on the sensitivity of the test done.
