China reports many people have recovered from covid-19. if they are immune from catching it again, how long will their coronavirus immunity last?

No one knows: You are asking for information about long term immunity that is unknown. This is a new virus that emerged this winter & has no long term data available. If it behaves like similar viruses in its class it would grant immunity for a long time, but how long can only be understood by having time to study it.
