A member asked:

My 4 month old has a fever (38.2 rectal) since yesterday and vomited during the night. she also has a greenish yellowish vaginal discharge in her nappy. should i take her to see a doctor or treat from home with paracetamol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See doctor with care: Fever and vomiting may be concerning depending on how many vaccinations has she had, if she is eating, level of energy, presence of diarrhea or any other symptoms. Foul smelling, greenish vaginal discharge may indicate a condition called vaginitis. If the symptoms don't resolve within a few days with paracetamol see doc.
