Several symptoms : Most people with flu will have upper respiratory congestion, fever, body aches, cough, & decreased appetite, possibly headache & fatigue as well. It frequently hits a person suddenly when it begins, rather than gradually

Flu: The symptoms of influenza are typically sudden in onset associated with high fever 103 or so. Nausea, and sore throat (a distinction from Covid which sore throat not so prominent), muscle aches, headache and fatigue. Cough common too. Influenza can lead to pneumonia, encephalitis or myocarditis or pericarditis.
