Covid vs strep: Could be covid. Could also be strep pharyngitis- which is a bacterial infection of the tonsillar area. It would make sense to get tested for both covid and strep since strep could lead to heart problems if it is not treated. Either one is contagious to others, so please take proper precautions. Isolate, sanitize, mask. Mild covid can be treated at home with fluids, fever reducers and rest

Stop all cold...: 2 weeks is a little long for these symptoms but 30% improvement is in the right direction. Meanwhile, Stop all cold drinks and foods like ice cream Drink only warm water, hot tea coffee, Soup and the like. take some fever medication like Aleve, Panadol ... May need ProAir or Ventolin inhaler to break the cough cycle. Add some Vitamin C and do see the Doctor to take a look at your throat
