Lifestyle/diet: Constipation is common in kids. Passing hard stools or painful large stools is considered constipation. First is proper hydration with liquids and having high fiber (grains/Vegetables/fruits) diet is important to alleviate his symptoms. Also some kids may have cow’s milk intolerance too. After that, medications can help but note that it will take time for it to work (around weeks to a month maybe)
