How are people tested for covid-19? how quickly does the test work? why aren't there enough tests for everyone?

Specimen and blood: Specimen taken from the nose or throat tested to look for rna of the virus. Another test is blood test looks for the antibody produced against corona virus. Tests can take couple days. This is a newly discovered virus and this is why not enough tests at the present time.
