COVID exposure : After being exposed to the COVID virus the length of time before you would have symptoms can be as short as 3 days and as long as 7 days. At approximately 5 days after your exposure it would be advisable to have the COVID antigen test especially since your employer will need that information to manage your episode during the next few weeks.

COVID 19: Average incubation period for COVID-19 is 2 to14 days (but as little as 1 day), median time is 4-5 days. You have more chance of having an accurate test result if you have symptoms or you wait 5 to 8 days after contact.
