Test: Although it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant, you can test easily using a home pregnancy test. More likely, the hormone in the IUD (progesterone) is causing the nausea, cramping and lack of period. If it is unbearable, talk to your gym about switching to a different hormone combination.

Small chance: Mirena is about 99% effective in preventing pregnancy, but there are occasional incidences of ectopic pregnancy which can be serious. Mirena does not protect against sexually transmitted infections , & some of those could cause cramping. Call the Dr who placed the Mirena to ask what to do: they might want to order a pregnancy test or examine you & consider other testing
