HIV Test: Hiv antibody testing is highly sensitive and specific, meaning if one has the antibody, the test is unlikely to miss it, unless performed early on before antibodies can be detected. Other tests such as HIV viral load & pcr are available & rarely indicated if the antibody test is normal. Constellation of the symptoms described are more likely due to an isolated etiology than hiv. Practice safety.

HIV is Hard to Get: Given that your high risk behavior was less than three months ago, any testing at this point that was the routine HIV antibody testing may give you a false negative. You need the HIV RNA or dna viral test. This test is definitive at 21 days and beyond. The symptoms you describe are not how early HIV is experienced in men. Please get the right test or at least get to the right doctor for you.
