Unlikely/no: The anti inflammatory meds may give you some relief. However, plantar fasciitis is primarily a body reaction to the stress placed on your foot by lack of arch support in your footwear. A visit to a podiatrist or foot care specialty store may provide you with inserts that can more evenly distribute your weight on your feet so the problem disappears.
