How long does it take for a plantar fasciitis to heal if treated correctly?

1-6 weeks: Properly treated plantar fasciitis can heal in as little as one week, or can take six or more weeks. Much depends on the severity of the strain that occurred to the plantar fascia.

This depends: By treated correctly does this mean conservative or surgical treatment? If surgery what kind? A partial fasciotomy? It really depends on what was done. If a fasciotomy, there are those that heal quickly, 1-2 weeks, and I have seen others take months, even when done correctly.

8 months: The symptoms of plantar fasciitis will usually subside within 1-2 weeks, though it takes 8 months for the plantar fasciia to fully attach to the heel bone.

How long has it hurt: Depending on how long the pain was present prior to treatment, it ca take several weeks to months to fully heal. If it's a chronic problem that has been ongoing for years, even with eswt, physical therapy, and injections it can take 3 months or more. If there is additional nerve damage in the area, it may be even longer.
