Depends on State : Each state has different guidelines for prevention based on recommendations from the CDC the federal governments guidelines for the United States. Here in PA everyone is to wear a face covering until the Governor advances the regulations. Have seen truck drivers wearing them last few days in a truck by themselves. Have also seen park exercisers running without them social distancing.

COVID 19 & masks: Agree with Dr. Lange, Each state has a different policy about wearing masks. Frankly, if you are in the actual wilderness, there is little chance of meeting up with anyone. Being on hiking trails or in a park can be different. Even though transmission rates are lower outdoors - would follow your state's law.
