Wash greens: Many bacteria, chemicals and viruses can live on salad greens, so its always a good idea to wash them and dry them before eating. Also important is washing your hands after having touched anything from the grocery and before eating. Keep food preparation areas clean and sanitized, and avoid preparing fresh raw vegetables on the same surfaces as raw meats/eggs.
