Baking kills virus: it is assumed that items that are baked under high temperatures (350 degrees and up) are free from live virus. Once the item is baked, the baker may handle and package the bread, but it is almost always done under USDA conditions involving the baker wearing gloves. There is almost no chance that the bread will contain live virus.

Foodborne illness: Freezing will not likely kill SARS-CoV -2 virus. Toasting would not likely heat it long enough to the kill the virus. But, here is the good news - COVID 19 is not considered a foodborne illness. Take care.
