A member asked:

Hvs result - epithelial cell++, pus cell 4-6hpf, rbc 0-2hpf, yeast nil, bacteria cell nil please what does this result mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be normal: Females can often have a small number of “pus” or white blood cells in urine specimen due to contamination from skin, especially true if there are ++ epithelial cells as you reported. If there are no bacteria or yeast there may be no infection, but if you have painful urination or abdominal pain a urine culture & possibly testing for sexually transmitted infections would be recommended
