Do i have hashimoto's? i had a partial thyroidectomy because i had heterogeneous multi-nodules thyroid. sed rate and c-reactive protein are elevated. do thyroid antibodies have to be present in hashimotos i have hypothyroidism taking levothyroxine

Thyroid: Good day The diagnosis of Hasimotos disease requires you to have thyroid antibodies present it is an autoimmune disorder Since you did not mention what your underlying diagnosis is I suggest you discuss with your treating physician
