A member asked:

I took a home pregnancy test and tested positive. i need to do an ultrasound in order to establish how many weeks i am, but i'm unable to get gynae appointment. what can i do?

Pregnancy: There is no need for you to have an ultrasound. If you know when your last normal period was, that can help you calculate how many weeks along your pregnancy is. Wait until the corona risks have decreased and your OB gyn doctor reopens her office and you can then have your first prenatal exam. It is not necessary now. But avoid alcohol or other drugs and take a daily multivitamin
