My 3 year old ran into a table a week ago, hitting his front tooth, it has definitely moved out of place but is not loose. he cried when i brush it, but otherwise not much complaints, won't bite into an apple either. will he need it removed?

Tooth injury: No need to worry. Treat it as gently as possible and avoid hard foods requiring biting for the rest of the week. It should heal gradually. By the way, the front teeth at this teeth are baby teeth that will eventually fall out by about age 5 onwards and be replaced by permanent teeth.
