A member asked:

I knocked my bottom front tooth with my tooth brush while brushing and my tooth is now loose and it's painful at the bottom due to knocking gum?

Brush Trauma: It would be so helpful to know your age, the periodontal condition of your teeth, and an exam to determine how "loose" your teeth are. Toothbrush trauma usually would not loosen a healthy tooth... a little pain for a day or so would be about it. It would probably be best to visit your local dentist for an exam if the problem persists for more than two days.

Call: Call your Dentist and report symptoms. He/she may want to see you to establish base line. A loose tooth is not normal and should be evaluated.
