Sinusitis and covid: Covid 19 can be dangerous in anybody but more so in people with chronic illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, compromised immune system etc. Sinusitis is not considered one of these. About 80 % of patients have only mild illness.

COVID 19: Of course, it would be preferrable not to have a co-infection. But, this is not likely to cause significant problems. Comorbid conditions which can increase risks include diabetes, severe obesity, chronic pulmonary disease & asthma, liver or kidney disease, significant cardiac problems, being immunocompromised (such as HIV/AIDS, organ transplants, cancer treatments).
