COVID sinus infectio: I have seen many patients with COVID 19 present as a sinus infection. Most sinus infections do not need antibiotics since we associate them with viruses(like COVID-19) and allergies. Although there are sinus infections that are needing antibiotics. We get concerned when the sinuses infections last over 10 days, are associated with a fever, facial swelling, or frequent sinus infections

Agree with Dr. F: Steam or vapor inhalation may help in clearing the sinuses. Take paracetamol for pain or fever, no more than 4 g/day, no alcohol. Wish you good health!
