Not dangerous: Hemorrhoids are extremely common. They can be painful at times, and bleed, but they are not generally dangerous. Sometimes they can be the result of straining too hard with bowel movements, so they can be due to underlying constipation. If they are mild, then over the counter products like Preparation H may be all that you need. Sitz baths (google that) or sitting in a bathtub can help also.
