how serious or dangerous are hemorrhoids?

Dr. Sidney Vinson
26 years experience Gastroenterology
Neither: Hemorrhoids are neither serious nor dangerous but can be quite annoying. Complications include pain, prolapse and bleeding. Avoiding constipation, diarrhea and straining minimize symptoms.
