Doctor diagnosed me with tonsilitus last week tuesday, more than a week later they still feel sore with dryness. i was precribed an antibiotic which is now finish. what could i do to get the dryness feeling away. i also got a flu vac in the week?

Tonsillitis: Did you have a throat culture that grew out strep? If not you may have had a viral infection which wouldn't respond to antibiotics. If you still have a significant sore throat, get a culture and mononucleosis test. In the meantime gargle with warm salt water and suck on throat lozenges to relieve dryness. I assume you don't smoke.
