A member asked:

Is it normal to have wisdom teeth grow out for more than two years?

Normal, no : But it is very common. As the tooth is erupting six years later than average, and as it has taken so long to erupt (or partially erupt), at may be partially impacted and as so can damage the tooth in front (12 year molar) and surrounding tissues. It would be prudent to have all of your wisdom teeth evaluated by an Oral Surgeon. Ask your General Dentist for a recommendation.

Common but: not actually considered normal. Considering your age I would not be concerned.
