HIV test results: It just depends on what they mean by "very accurate". About 90% of newly infected people have positive AgAb HIV tests by 21 days -- very good by standards of many diagnostic tests for various medical conditions, but most persons at risk for HIV want more certainty, and these tests take 28 days to reach 98% reliability, 6 weeks for 100%. Performance is the same for all available HIV AgAb tests.
