I was diagnosed with flu last week. i went back to my gp on monday who said its now a simple upper respiratory infection. its gotten worse again now. last night the coughing got so bad i was throwing up at around 1am this morning.

Secondary infection : You may be experiencing post viral complications of the flu. These include bronchospasm and/or pneumonia. Please see your PCP to rule out these causes. If you are an asthmatic, please use your inhalers as directed. Avoid smoke, dust, mold, pollen and animal dander.
