Probably not: A common oral yeast infection is caused by candida albicans. This is an oppourtunistic fungal infection that is commonly referred to as "thrush". It is normally present in the mouth but may proliferate into an "infection" causing symptoms in the mouth. A prescription antifungal medication is needed, and usually resolves within 10-14 days. See a doctor, the treatment is easy and painless.
