Evaluation: You will need to see a gynecologist who will work with you on recurrent vaginitis. Here is how I would do it. I would test for diabetes. I would do an exam and testing to confirm that we truly have a yeast infection and not one of the many other causes of vaginitis that is often confused with yeast. If yeast is truly confirmed I would culture it to confirm what type of yeast is growing.
