took corenza - 10 days. no improvement. saw doctor yesterday - got antibiotics for flu. the muscles located on the lower right section of my ribcage hurts. i have no trouble breathing. is this a symptom of flu?

FLU OR NO FLU: Certainly sounds viral and not bacterial so I am not certain that you needed an antibiotic. If viral, it could be influenza. If you have not had a fever, influenza is less likely. Continue rest, hydration. Perhaps add Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for aches and pain and monitor symptoms closely. If no improvement in the next 2-3 days, go back to see your doctor again!
