Call your doctor: This likely can wait and be seen at your child’s next visit. If fever or cough or pain/redness of the lymph nodes, or ear pain develop, please call your doctor for an appointment to be seen sooner. Many children have enlarged lymph nodes in that area, and generally they are benign and associated with an upper respiratory infection.

Lymph nodes: May be associated with teething. Your child should be seeing a Dentist, preferably a Pedodontist (children's dental specialist) since age 1. Dentist will have established a base line, and can compare current status to base line data. lease call child's Dentist for an evaluation.
