I had an accident it fractured my left humerus and i had to go for metal implant i feel pity about it as i fear i wont be able to gym, lift weights like i used to earlier. shud i remove implant after a year or will i be able to lift weights again?

Rods: Use of intramedullary rods for fractures of the humerus are somewhat controversial. An orthopedic surgeon with much experience in this situation is best to answer your question. I'm not sure what percentage of these rods are removed after complete healing. You may have to consult a specialist at a university hospital for best advice.
