Occasional : bleeding is considered normal, if it gets worse with flow or pain, let your doctor know. Sometimes, the uterine lining, which is kept thin intentionally, gets to thin, or benign uterine polyps can form causing nuisance bleeding. Motrin is ok for cramps, for most people.
