Mortality Rate: The mortality rate in certain races & locations has shown to be higher than 3.4 %. WHO is looking at the data to date to make this ESTIMATE. Information is updated as new data comes in. There is no perfect prediction at this time. It is possible that the mortality rate may be higher with a second wave.
