I tested positive for covid-19 3weeks ago, been hospitalized treatment, discharge a week ago, did a 2nd test today, came back positive.. feeling good though.. lab tech said it is up to 6 weeks to reflect a negative result.. is that true?

Continue to isolate: Continue to self isolate and monitor for symptoms of COVID 19. The PCR testing may remain positive but typically will convert within 30 days. Two negative tests are suggested prior to re entering the work place.
