A member asked:

Is it better to avoid foods one is mildly allergic to and replace them with vitamins?

Not exactly: We don't replace real, natural foods with vitamin pills. If a person is allergic to a food, he can find alternative foods. We replace food with real food. Rarely would anyone be allergic to so many things that he becomes vitamin deficient. To be on the safe side, taking one daily multivitamin-plus-minerals is fine to do.

Food sensitivity: If you have been lab tested and truly have food sensitivity, yes, it is best to avoid them. (Great Plains Lab in Kansas has an excellent one.) Try to replace any offending food w/other whole foods. Peace and good health.
