FUO: There are many causes of fever of unknown origin (FUO). Chronic infections are most common; in your country, tuberculosis probably is the most common overall cause. If you have HIV, TB plus several other possibilities. Most causes of FUO are serious or can become serious unless promptly diagnosed and treated. See a doctor soon. Good luck.
