Depend on details: That would depend on who is taking care of the pregnancy, and what type of infection a patient is talking about. People can get an infection of some sort involving any part of the body. Sometimes, people have 2 infections at a time, such as a viral influenza infection and a bacterial middle ear infection. Details matter. If unsure, one can call her primary care doctor to ask about who to see.
