Left hand middle finger. the little bend on the other side of the knuckle at the very top seems to be causing me some issues. i noticed it hurts whenever i rub my hands together like when washing. im 18. what can this be? possible arthritis ?

Possibly: At 18, we typically do see significant osteo-arthritis. Your hand pain may come from holding writing utensils improperly. If you have a family history of rheumatoid disease, you could have rheumatoid arthritis,or a variant. More likely a trauma, but do get it,checked out by your family doc,to,be,sure.
