A member asked:

My 3 year old seems to be having a allergic reaction to something in her diet. where can i take her to get an allergy test done. we recently done a blood test which didnt provide any information to us ?

Food diary : Both skin & blood allergy tests are helpful in picking foods to avoid, but they are not always predictive of simple food allergies & often over-label foods as allergies when one may never react. The bast individual indicator of food tolerance is an accurate food diary. where suspect foods are first eliminated for weeks, then added one at a time. Any reaction within 3-4 days is a possible problem.
