A member asked:

Will drinking water regularly wash down coronavirus into my stomach acid and kill the virus? i heard i should not keep a dry throat to minimize infection risk.

COVID-19 prevention: If the virus is in your mouth, throat, etc, you are infected. Once that happens, it cannot make any difference whether or not it is swallowed. Stomach acid might indeed kill some virus particles, but not the vast majority that remain in the upper respiratory tract. Dry vs wet mouth, or fluid intake, probably has no effect at all in preventing COVID-19.
