I have pain in the neck before the extraction of my abscessed tooth and the jaw pain has improved some but my neck/ throat has been worse i don't notice sweeping but when i drink water or any thing it feels like acid going down the side of my throat?

Persistent pain: If you are immediately post-surgical this may be a transient problem. If you are at least 4 days post-surgical call the General Dentist or Oral Surgeon who did your surgery for a post-treatment reevaluation.
