My daughter used to babble a lot but recently she's reduced herself to grunts and is not attempting to formulate words. she's 14 months old. besides that she laughs and plays like a normal kid. should i be worried?

Hearing test: A hearing test is suggested to ensure there is no loss of hearing. Speech development is a spectrum over time. Reading and avoiding excessive screen time is helpful in speech development. These are some milestones that she should have and the change of her speech requires follow up:
Responds to simple spoken words;
Uses simple gestures, like shaking head “no” or waving “bye-bye”
