Neonatal acne: Your newborn probably has neonatal acne, but the infection on your lip may increase the likelihood that she can acquire the infection. If the lesions have clear liquid centers, the material may be sent for culture and PCR testing. Newborns at this age have immature immune systems. Please follow up with your pediatrician.
