Scapular winging: Scapular winging foten is not visible on Xray. It is a dynamic finding found on physical examination. A standard chest xray pr a scapular xray with arms at the side will not show winging. The muscles that control the scapula or to the nerves that supply these muscles realted to winging . EX: the serratus anterior muscle. Without this muscle, the arm cannot be raised above the head and get winging
