From a follow up hvs after medication, epith cells 2, pus cells 2-3 hpf and culture says yielded no growth after 48hours incubation at 37degrees. i have been busy and cannot take it back to the hospital for now. do i still need to?

There's no diagnosis: High Vaginal Swab (HVS) is submitted for both microscopic analysis and culture. The term "pus" cell doesn't typically appear on a microscopy report. 48 hrs of no growth in spec#1 is encouraging but not final. If symptoms of bacterial vaginitis are gone after appropriate antibiotic then great but with no evidence of disease in 1st specimen, 2nd wont help. If not better see doctor. Is preg test neg?
