There are no medications that will fix this problem, but you can take OTC NSAID's to minimize the pain and swelling until you can get an appointment to see a dentist.

Wisdom tooth: It is common for painful swelling around wisdom teeth. Infections occur and this needs to be treated by a dentist or oral surgeon. OTC ibuprofens can help with the pain until you can see a dentist for treatment
